Tornatore's lover

The title is just that. I'm not the lover of nobody :)

I never thougt about the kind of movies that I like. I just see it and fall in love of them, I cry, laugh and even I fell fear.
When I was a little girl my dad used to take me to the cinema and We stood hours there, even after the movie. We talk about the amazing thigs that We saw.
But, now I'm a big girl, and I stood home to see the movies that I see in the cinema once. So, if you ask me what I prefer I can't answer with the true. I love both.

My first "movie-love" was Mathilda. I was a little girl and I though that I might be able to move things with my eyes and have a teacher called "Honey". But all change when I saw :"Cinema paradiso" and a few years later "Big Fish"

About the Chilean films: I have not clue about this kind of films. I mean, I've seen many Chilean films, but I'm not in a position to criticize. I love " Se arrienda", "que pena tu vida" and "Promedio rojo".

The film that has left a trace upon on me is... Cinema Paradiso and Big Fish :)
Why? Just because yes is the reason.

Nuovo cinema Paradiso is a Italian film written and directed by Giuseppe Tornatore.
A little about the plot:

"During the 1980s in Rome, Italy, famous Italian film director Salvatore Di Vita (Jacques Perrin) returns home late one evening, where his girlfriend sleepily tells him that his mother called to tell him that someone named Alfredo (Philippe Noiret) has died. It is made clear that Salvatore tends to shy away from committed relationships and that he has not been back to his home village of Giancaldo, Sicily in 30 years. As she asks him who Alfredo is, Salvatore flashes back to his childhood."
